An Evening of Champagne at Quay

You’re invited to enter the sparkling world of Champagne with Fink’s Wine Director Amanda Yallop as she hosts an evening of discovery at Quay.

You will enjoy a tasting of six exceptional Champagnes, rarely poured by the glass or seen outside the cellars where they are bottled.

Each cuvée reveals a story of place, craftsmanship and time, from iconic Grand Marque houses to hidden grower gems.

These remarkable wines will be served alongside our signature canapés, and select dishes from the Quay Experience tasting menu to complement the experience.

For those curious to understand Champagne more deeply or seeking a beautiful night of rare champagnes and stunning harbour views, this is a celebration not to miss.

Embark on a guided tasting of six exceptional Champagnes, hand-selected by Amanda Yallop to showcase the region’s breadth and character. From the richness of Krug Grande Cuvée, to the elegance of Pol Roger Rosé, each cuvée offers a unique expression of terroir, technique, and time—spanning renowned houses and singular grower-producers rarely seen by the glass.

A Len Evans Tutorial Scholar in 2013, arguably the world’s finest wine school, and an alumnus of AWAC 33, the Advanced Wine Assessment Course through The Australian Wine Research Institute. Amanda is a judge at many Australian local, state, and national wine competitions, Decanter UK Wine Awards, and a judge for the annual Ruinart Challenge for Australian participants. Named Gault & Millau Sommelier of the Year 2016, Dame Chevalier, L’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and Dame Chevalier, La Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Burgundy, France). Holding a WSET Diploma for Wine & Spirit Education Trust and a student in the prestigious Master of Wine program.
